On May 19, 2024, the Anglican Church of the Resurrection (ACR), Newark, New Jersey, joyfully celebrates its 10th year anniversary, marking a decade of faith, growth, and unwavering commitment to God’s work. Founded on March 29, 2014, ACR was born out of a desire for a peaceful worship environment rooted in Christ-like teaching and missionary work. Over the past decade, we have witnessed God’s faithfulness in countless ways. From our humble beginnings with prayer meetings in members’ homes to establishing a vibrant community that gathers in our beautiful church building on Grain Street, our journey has been marked by divine guidance and blessings.

Throughout these ten years, ACR has reached numerous milestones. We have grown spiritually and numerically, celebrated the ordination of ministers, and seen the formation of dynamic ministries and departments that cater to the diverse needs of our congregation. Our outreach programs and evangelistic efforts have extended our impact beyond the church walls, bringing hope and transformation to our community.
